Home is where we hang our heart....travel broadens our horizons.
We cannot appreciate one without the other. Venture beyond your own backyard, and visit faraway places and different cultures. You can begin by using books, the internet, and put your little place here on earth in perspective. If, your passport has stamps from the entire United nations, unpack your bags and take a walk around your neighborhood.
Affirmation
Roots in home and family give me the confidence to roam the world. I travel to see my life in a different light.
Project: Bring It Home
What interesting or unusual souvenir can you collect on a.....walk around the block...nearby park? A found object, a pebble, a dead butterfly, petals of a flower, unusual shaped twig, moss, bark from a tree or bush, seeds...will trigger more memories than a touristy T-shirt or snow globe ever could. Look for the deeper story in your surroundings.
Wimberley, TX
We visited this area in May and it was our first trip south about 45 miles from our home. It was a quiet and peaceful drive and we enjoyed the peacefulness this place has.
