Oak Hill...or SW central Austin.
Comfortable rolling hills with nests of homes hidden in the landscape. Spring is here, warm 80 degrees then a cold wind enters, rain begins and then goes on the rest of the afternoon. Rains stop, and suddenly everyone wants to BBQ. The air smells fresh and sweet with smokey chicken, ribs and brisket...yummmy.
Moving here has not been easy when you have lived in California most of your life. But, having moved here has been the best thing we did. Friendly and blessed people, keeping Austin weird...that is a good enough reason to stay here. Add 2 weird and one cute Catahoula.
The city scape is sudden, after all the rolling hills.
My kind of country...
